CRITERIA FOR INCLUSION IN THE GREEN DIRECTORY

At The Green Directory, we do not claim to be an accrediting body. We do accept businesses which have been granted appropriate status with various accrediting bodies for environmentally preferable products as well as organic certification bodies.

Our resident Environmental Scientist checks company credentials including ingredient lists and MSDS’s. We look at each case individually and make a judgement according to our own standards, avoiding listing companies which use “green wash” rather than moving genuinely towards environmental sustainability.

We are always happy to discuss individual cases, as well as to receive feedback on any company’s inclusion if queries need to be raised.
