The company is now concentrating on the design, installation and maintenance of hydronic heating systems, both commercial and domestic, in homes and residential care facilities. Our emphasis is on sustainable energy systems, and we are endeavouring to research and produce eco-friendly heating systems. The company specialises in concrete slab heating and radiator heating and installs and designs systems using gas, wood, solar, pellet, oil or electric fuelled boilers. Hydronic heating is the most pleasant, comfortable form of heating as it is achieved at a lower temperature than conventional systems. Hydronic heating provides even warmth throughout a home that is safe and is recommended for allergy sufferers due to minimal air movement. It can be thermostatically controlled and channelled or excluded to each area of the home, to maintain warmth throughout the entire house or building. Extensively used in Europe, hydronic heating is a wise choice when it comes to providing warmth for your home or establishment Carman Heating focuses on a high level of professionalism and quality workmanship both with installation and after sales services and repairs. Concrete floor heating uses heated water running through poly pipes embedded in the building’s concrete slab. The pipe is laid before the concrete is poured and, once encased, is maintenance free. Around 800 metres of pipe is coiled in the concrete slab of an average-sized house with 100 litres of heated water circulating to provide gentle even heat. Fuel source is via gas (natural or LPG), wood, electricity, oil or solar, according to availability and client choice. Radiators Radiator heating provides warmth through a house and is safe for children as well as recommended for allergy sufferers due to minimal air movement. Each radiator can be individually controlled or thermostatically controlled. Heated water is pumped though each radiator in different rooms of the home. Warmth is achieved in every room and can be changed to suit individual needs Radiators are available in steel and cast iron and in many different heights and widths. After a heat load is done on each individual room, radiator sizes are selected as to which is most suitable. Fuel source is via gas (natural or LPG), wood, electricity, oil or solar, according to availability and client choice. Radiators available in steel panel or cast iron Wood Burning Cookers and Boilers Carman Heating is a specialist in wood-fired boilers and cookers and has extensive experience in installation, maintenance and repairs. Wood fired boilers / cookers can be used to fuel hydronic floor heating or a hydronic radiator heating system. Models are also capable of heating domestic hot water and managing all cooking needs. Cooking only models are also available.
