MCBERNS VENT ODOUR FILTER RANGE
McBerns Vent Odour Filters are specially designed to absorb, not just mask all foul odours and biogases including hydrogen sulphide (H2S).
Our Odour Filters are currently used on domestic sewer and septic vent pipes, grease trap vents and in the Municipal sewerage treatment on air valves, pump stations, manholes, vent stacks and enclosed pump station buildings.
Although our Odour Filters were originally designed for sewage wastewater odour management, they can be applied in many industrial situations where odours are a problem: domestic situations, abattoirs, food processing, mining and tanneries.
The filter media consists of an absorbent natural mineral combined with a small amount of an oxidising chemical that absorbs and destroys foul odours including hydrogen sulphide (H2S). They are safe and easy to install. Replacement media cartridges are available for 100mm to 375mm sizes. The filter housings are constructed using chemical resistant PVC. Wind assisted Extractor fans are also an optional extra where high airflow volumes exist.
All our Filters are compact and aesthetically designed to blend into the surrounding environment and remove noxious, corrosive and foul odours fast and effectively from the environment.
VF50mmDomestic Vent Odour Filter is used in domestic situations on sewer, septic and grease trap vent pipes.
VF100mm and VF150mm Vent Odour Filters are designed to be used in both domestic and commercial operations where foul odour emissions are a problem.
VF300 Vent Odour Filter is used in sewage wastewater odour management and commercial situations where odour emissions are a problem.
MCBERNS GROUND MOUNT FILTER RANGE GMF300 & GMF375
Our Ground Mount Filters eliminate odours at ground level. There is no-longer any need to install and maintain tall vent pipes. All future installation and maintenance is carried out at ground level - no more expensive cherry-pickers.
GMF300 is used in sewage/wastewater odour management and other commercial situations where odour emissions are a problem. It is designed to be installed at ground level on top of air valves, sewer manholes or pump stations to treat gaseous emissions at those sites. Our filters absorb all foul odours including hydrogen sulphide (H2S) using an environmentally friendly natural mineral and an oxidising chemical.
The GMF300 Filter is easily and safely installed and replacement media cartridges are available.
Longevity and effectiveness of the filter depends on the amount of gases passing through it.
GMF375 Odour Filter is a larger version of the successful Ground Mount Filter GMF300 and is used in the same way.
It is designed for more extreme situations where coping with greater airflow is necessary.
The GMF375 is larger in dimensions and contains 4 times more absorbent media than the GMF300, so can cope with much greater airflow volumes.
The replacement media cartridges come in 2 sections to make installation easier and safer.

MCBERNS SAFETY LIDS
The McBerns Safety Lid has been designed with safety as a priority. An important feature of our custom made McBerns Safety Lid are our safety grates.
We custom make to suit most pump station sites.There are two versions:
"M1" with an easily removable safety grate incorporated, which takes the worry out of open lids on site.
"M2" has a hinged safety grate which can remain closed or swing up and lock-in place onto the lid to form a 3 sided barrier when the lid is open, thus making onsite maintenance safer.
The Safety Grates have been load tested to 1000kgs and comply with the relevant sections of A.S. 1657-1992.The McBerns Safety Lids are made of robust aluminium alloy and are coated with an anti-theft, non slip coating with reduced tripping hazards,greased locking pin and gas tight rubber seals.
MCBERNS AUTOWELLWASHER™
McBerns AutoWellWasher™ is used to clean municipal sewerage pump stations and large enclosed storage chambers. It is a permanently mounted, automatic washing device that uses only water to keep the well walls free of fat, eliminating the need for manual cleaning.
AutoWellWasher™ reduces odours and confined space entries, increases the longevity and efficiency of infrastructure and saves money. It can also be installed into any large enclosed storage chambers where cleaning and maintenance can be difficult.
