1. Resource Re-use Operations
Our Re-use Centre in Marrickville provides quality, low-priced, useful and unusual materials for use in arts, craft, education, small businesses, home renovation and other activities. We are very well known and respected in the education, childcare and community sectors, as people can come to pick up from one central location a huge variety of useful materials. Examples of these materials include: perspex, foams, paper, cardboard, containers, fabrics, mount board, stationery, bubble-wrap and matting. We are picking up new and interesting stuff every day.
Prices: our prices are unbeatable! It is $17.50 for a 55-litre sized hessian bag full of materials and $8.75 for half a bag from our bag area (items sold by volume) or you can select from our shop area where items are individually priced. Prices are 50% or less than you will find elsewhere!

3.Sustainable Art and Design at our 'm.a.d.' (make a difference) Centre and 'Junk Love' exhibition
As well as providing many valuable services from the Reverse Garbage facility, we have also opened up a centre dedicated to showcasing the works of local sustainable artists and designers. This space follows the same principles of Reverse Garbage as a not-for-profit community organisation. It has become a valuable resource for the local community and a great opportunity for established and emerging artists and designers within Australia to access the public market through an environment that supports their cause.
As well as now having this fantastic space to showcase local talent, we also have an art exhibition called 'Junk Love' which has become enormously popular receiving publicity and nationwide rave reviews. This then further promotes a future with green design and gives local people an opportunity to share their ideas in a gallery environment that is encouraging of all ideas big or small.
