The following outlines Sage Beauty's business practises which help protect our planet from Global Warming and over-pollution. The people at Sage Beauty want to make a difference and Sage Beauty hope that you do too!

1. Sage Beauty is on 100% Pure Green Energy with Energy Australia, which means that all electricity is from wind and natural sources, not coal. Sage Beauty is also on 100% pure energy at home where the towels are laundered in Tri Nature phosphate free laundry powder.

2. Sage Beauty uses corn made bio-degradable, compostable "non-plastic" bags throughout the salon for all its waste. Made in Australia and Norway.

4. Sage Beauty uses unbleached calico strips for its waxing, so that Sage Beauty know that bleach and similar chemicals are not involved in the production process and, as well, the calico breaks down more easily and naturally into the earth.

5. Our Wax for our treatments is petroleum free.

6. Our Talcum powders are petroleum free.

7. Our Spa Ritual Nail polishes are soy based, formaldehyde free and contain no carcinogenic chemicals - often found in nail polish to prevent it from chipping.

8. Sage Beauty uses Palm and Beeswax tealight candles in our oil burners, which are paraffin free, with pure essential oils.

9. Sage Beauty uses Tri Nature and Sonett products to clean our salon every day, all phosphate free, biodegradable, safe for kids and the waterways. These are all very efficient and price competitive. Made in Australia and Germany respectively. Sage Beauty also offers these to you to use in your homes and businesses.

10. Sage Beauty provides Dr. Hauschka skin ccare, body care and bath care products, which are 100% certified natural as recognised by BDIH, a federal association of German made products whose "Guidelines for Natural" are the most selective in the world.

Sage Beauty also provides make-up from Dr Hauschka which is chemical and allergy-free.

11. Sage Beauty offers Australian made MV Organic Skincare and body care products, which are a highly regarded skincare system in the natural skin care industry.

12. Sage Beauty offers Weleda Products for babies as these contain natural and organic ingredients and are BDIH rated (see above).

13. Sage Beauty stocks plant wax candles made from Palm Oil, sourced from plantation forests, not old growth forests. Our fragrances contain 85-100% essential oil.
