Smart Options was established in 1997 by David and Bronwyn Sanders.

Smart Options is a wholly Australian owned company that offers a broad range of solar and renewable solutions. Solar grid and stand alone power, solar pumping, solar hot water, passive and integrated solar heating and cooling, along with lifestyle products.

Smart Options solar systems are designed and fitted by accredited BCSE installers and designed to suit the requirements of the client.

Product Range

Thermo Hot Water
Smart Options are distributors of Conergy and Solco Solar Hot Water Systems. Conergy have a complete range of products, thermosiphon and split systems which can be electric or gas boosted. Suitable for use in frost prone areas. The Solco Genius is a polyethylene product which is excellent for frost prone areas and ideal in areas that require gravity feed or a wetback stove connection. Available in a range of colours.

Grid Connect
Solar power installations of both private homes and businesses provide clean energy and savings to the owner. Solar energy can be harnessed and used to power households, community and industrial buildings. Any excess power is fed into the grid during the day, generating credits from your power authority. At night you draw power from the grid as normal using your daytime credits to offset the costs. In addition, you may enjoy sizeable government rebates on the purchase price. There has never been a more affordable time to install an efficient silent solar system in remote areas.



Select Air
Solectair solar heating is a way of transferring stored heat from your roof space into your home living areas. Direct sunshine on your roof's surface causes it to heat up. This warm air is then drawn from the roof space and transferred via ducting and ceiling vents to each room in your home, thereby raising living room temperatures at minimum cost.



Solar Pump
Coupling the simplicity of a windmill style piston pump, with the reliability of solar power, has enabled Solco to produce a solar pump that can be easily maintained on site without any special tools or technical knowledge by the owner, a great advantage in remote areas.

The Sun Mill combines the principles of a windmill with the latest in solar technology. There is a wide range of models, pumping heads from 0 to 60 metres and delivering up to 40,000 litres of water per day.

Vergola
Vergola is a fully adjustable louvre roofing system. It maximises the use of your outdoor area by giving you control over your environment-control your sunlight, shade and ventilation to suit you. Keep out the rain, let in a cool breeze or allow warm air to escape.

Vergola assists in reducing heating and cooling costs by shielding exterior walls and windows. The superior double skinned louvres also provide both thermal insulation and sound reduction.
