The Melbourne School of Land and Environment is one of Australia's largest providers of education and research activities that support sustainable primary industry. Our staff, students and graduates advance both policy and innovation in building sustainable urban and rural environments.
The Melbourne School of Land and Environment is Australia's most diverse
university faculty offering contemporary programs that engage students and researchers in the major issues that confront our community, including climate change, water management, feeding a world with an ever increasing population and ecosystem management. Its programs cover:
agriculture, agribusiness, animal science, the environment, food science,
forest ecosystem science, geography, urban horticulture, viticulture and
wine technology. These combine science, business and social policy and
produce graduates who are qualified to become global leaders.
The Graduate School is well placed to support the land and food sectors by having specialist campuses in key parts of Victoria. This network,
comprising Burnley, Creswick, Dookie and Parkville enables the Graduate
