Our staff, students and graduates advance both policy and innovation in building sustainable urban and rural environments.
The Faculty of Land and Food Resources is Australia's most diverse university faculty offering contemporary programs that engage students and researchers in the major issues that confront our community, including climate change, water management, feeding a world with an ever increasing population and ecosystem management. Its programs cover: agriculture, agribusiness, the environment, food science, forest ecosystem science, geography, urban horticulture, viticulture and wine technology. These combine science, business and social policy and produce graduates who are qualified to become global leaders.
The Faculty is well placed to support the land and food sectors by having specialist campuses in key parts of Victoria. This network, comprising Burnley, Creswick, Dookie and Parkville enables the Faculty to undertake teaching and research in both regional and metropolitan settings. Each campus has a long and distinguished history and each provides students with an outstanding living laboratory in which to learn and gain experience.
