Environmental Responsibility
Environmental responsibility has been one of the cornerstones of Reln’s development. Almost all of Reln’s proprietary line products are made from polypropylene or polyethylene. Of all the polymers used by the plastics industry, polypropylene and polyethylene have the most viable second-life application and are the most easily sourced from the waste stream.
Reln was one of the pioneers to use recycled plastic in Australia and is now one of the leading consumers. The environment and the use of recycled plastic in products, which allow the population to participate in the preservation of our world, has long been a key focus of Reln.
Reln was instrumental in the development of the vermiculture (worm cultivation) industry in Australia when it released the Worm Factory® as a waste minimisation tool through local government councils. Giving the range a boost Reln added the Can-O-Worms®, which is sold through retail outlets.
Surface Water Drainage
Storm Drain. The latest surface water drainage system now exported by Reln worldwide. The addition of the slim line pit to the range together with Reln’s new civil range completes the package.
Rain Drain - a system of easy to install surface water drainage channel and grates for domestic applications. This product range was awarded an Australian DesignMark in 1996 by the Australian Design Awards because of its ease of installation of a complete system of integrated components.
Stormwater Pits - a range of plastic pits with capacities ranging from 10 litres up to 130 litres with plastic, aluminium and fabricated steel grates.
Unipit. Reln has developed a complete range of unique drainage pits called unipit. No pooling water reduces the risk of mosquitoes breeding. The range includes 200 series, 300 series and the 450 series, all with a bottom outlet which eliminates the need for risers. Reln has added a vortex base to accelerate the water for better pipe flow.

The Reln 3200 Litre Septic Tank brings you the latest design and technology can offer. Weighing only 122 kg it is easy to move to the most difficult positions. The base is made of recycled plastic.
