Vision Water Pty Ltd
The Water Cell is the new innovation in rainwater harvesting / storage system designed to be contained and accessed within the subfloor structure of any new building regardless of size or type.

Vision Water Pty Ltd is a passionate organisation at the cutting edge of rainwater harvesting and storage techniques.

Vision Water has developed the award winning Water Cell technology which is a new and extremely innovative high volume rainwater harvesting, storage and integrated OSD (onsite stormwater detention) systemwhich is designed to be installed and contained within the footprint or subfloor structure of any new building regardless of size and type.

We believe that the roof of every new building can be our new catchment area and the subfloor area is our new storage facility, as current records and long term statistics show that the eastern seaboard of Australia receives enough rainfall to provide every household, commercial building and community facility with a sustainable water supply.

As the Water Cell is designed to be contained within the footprint of any new building, it is important to contact us at the early planning stages of any new project, in order to allow the Water Cell to be integrated into the design of the project.

The Water Cell is a high volume rainwater harvesting, storage and integrated OSD (Onsite Detention) system which is specifically designed to be contained and accessed within the footprint or subfloor structure of any new building whether it be a commercial or residential building.

A standard Water Cell is 6m long x 4m wide x 0.7m deep, each with a storage capacity of 16,000 litres. It is engineered from recyclable polyethylene to USFDA and EC compliance for food contact and drinking water.

We designed the Water Cell to be of a size and shape that is compatible to standard building components such as block work and standard suspended floor products. Even after installation, the Water Cells always remain accessible via an access or service tunnel (built in to the subfloor area) for access and maintenance.

It is recommended that concrete reinforced block work (or similar) be utilised as the containment walls for the Water Cells and it is this containment area that then becomes the subfloor structure for the building.

As each standard Water Cell has a capacity of storing 16,000 litres of potable drinking quality rainwater, a standard new residential home could easily accommodate four (4) of the Water Cells, giving the home a total sustainable water supply of 64,000 litres, free from any current water restrictions.

The design and concept is simple, but it is vital that it be incorporated into the building design at the earliest possible stages of planning.

Vision Water look forward to providing any advice, technical assistance or installation instructions required for your next project.
