ANYONE who gets a guilty conscious when washing their clothes and watching hundreds of litres of water emptying down the drain, while the country’s drought-stricken, will welcome a new laundry liquid onto the market that’s been composed for Greywater use.

Andrew Chaney, one of the innovators behind Orange Power’s new 4x concentrate natural enzyme laundry liquid, said washing clothes was a necessary yet wasteful use of water if it couldn’t be used for other applications.

The enzyme liquid is suitable for front and top loaders and offers a great alternative to leading brands which aren’t as powerful or competitively priced. “Due to the super strength of the enzyme liquid, just over one tablespoon is enough to wash a full load of laundry,” he said. “One 500mL bottle guarantees 20 washes which is a massive savings of over 50 per cent compared to leading brands which only have 14/15 washes.” Adding further to the liquid’s green credentials, the packaging is completely recyclable and is much smaller than most bottles, thereby saving energy in manufacturing and transportation.
