Prepare your skin & hair for the coming drier climate
Well the long hot Summer didn't really present itself (at least in southern Queensland), and with the start of a new Season, there has been a noticeable drying of the air.
Rather than wait for your skin to really deteriorate from the change, the following may help you prepare for Autumn and the coming Winter.
Increase hydration in and on our bodies, drink more water and apply a natural oil based moisturiser after showering.
Hair dehydrates and changes with the season.
Try rubbing our certified organic rosehip oil ($17.00, 25ml with bonus spritzer) into ends and mid lengths about 30 minutes before washing.
Depending on your hair type, you can do this every second day (as a leave in maintenance treatment) to prevent dehydration of your crowning glory.
Sunscreen is always needed in the Australian climate, so remember to apply sunscreen every day to your face, neck, shoulders, hands & all exposed body parts at least 20 minutes before sun exposure and wear a hat.
Exfoliate gently and a little less often than in Summer
Use a mineral bronzer to colour your skin tone and to avoid the lilywhite colour that goes with cool climate.
Dress warmly and don't heat your home too much (your power bill and carbon emissions will be lower).
