Reverse the Effect is a Queensland Government initiative to encourage Queensland motorists to reduce their carbon footprint. At reversetheeffect.com.au motorists can calculate their vehicle’s average greenhouse gas emissions and make a tax-deductible donation, which the Queensland Government will match, dollar-for-dollar, up to $4.5 million until 2014. Donations go towards tree planting projects in Queensland that work to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and expand Queensland’s protected natural areas.
