Hi Ted
Our apologies for not having given an answer to your query from so long ago about the uniforms. In case you haven't found a solution yet, I suggest that you call places like church charities (St Vincent de Paul etc), as they often take things for rags. And your local garage may like them as well.
Please feel free to give me a call at The Green Directory if you haven't had any luck.

What kind of uniforms is it... police? Which company is it? If these uniforms are only embroidered logos, simply add patches that hide your logos or cut out the logo and add another one and you will avoid a lot of waste by wearing it for other purposes. Personally, I have a uniform (parts of) collection as hats, shirts, t-shirts and more especially offered by persons or companies that are sure to have no trouble to donate (or exchange doubles) to a collector.
